  We will be driving eight ladies in the parade.  If you can be a driver, please sign up.  You will need to provide your registration, insurance, and a document I will be sending you and emailing it to a website.  This is a fun parade to be in with support for the local royalty.   I will be monitoring this website for new personnel who have signed up.  Thank You In Advance!

  If you would like to join us, please sign up to give me an accurate number. Please bring pillows and/or cushions for the royalty lady to sit on and any decorations for your Miata. The weather forecast should be sunny and in the 60’s as in the past.

  We will meet at 8:00am in the Jack in the Box parking lot at 4305 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA. The location is on the south side of the Highway 310 and across from the Flagship Inn. We will leave around 8:30am for the parade.

  Our much loved Rhodes River Ranch Restaurant has closed its doors so we are going to a new destination for this year's Drive To Lunch. We will be driving some old roads and some new ones to Big Lake Bar and Grill in Big Lake. If it is a nice day we can eat on the patio with a view of the lake!

  If you want to enjoy a drive to Darrington, Rockport, Concrete, Sedro Wooley, and other small towns with many views, this is your event.  Meetup will be at the Safeway Parking Lot in Arlington, WA at 8:30am and driver's meeting at 8:45am and leave at 9:00am.

  While driving, we will be taking the other roads through some of the towns and you will see Mt Baker, beautiful landscapes, and Cascade Mountains with some twisties while driving.  There will be two bathroom stops in Darrington and at 5b's Bakery & Eatery enroute, and Double Barrel BBQ.  Please bring a jacket, sunglasses, camera, water, sunscreen, etc. as we will be near the rivers, in the sunshine, and hills.  The drive with a stop or two will take around 3.0 hours.  We will see you there!  Zoom Zoom!

        A beautiful June day makes for a great PSMC ride. Please join our host and other club members on an extended run along a circuitous route to/through Snoqualmie. Our drive will take us along many curvy roads with some twisties, and with waypoints that include Duvall, Carnation, Fall City, North Bend, and Snoqualmie, with one planned rest stop before Snoqualmie Falls. Heading back we will again pass through Carnation and Duvall, then drive on to Monroe for lunch at IXTAPA Mexican Restaurant for post-run socializing and a great meal.

  We will meet at the Paradise Lake Chevron station/market located at 21525 Bostian Road, Woodinville. This starting point is a couple of hundred yards off SR 522 to the south and in the vicinity of Maltby.  Coffee, other drinks; and snacks can be purchased at the market, which also has a restroom. Plan to arrive by about 9 AM.  The drivers' meeting will be at 9:15, and we will hit the road at about 9:30 AM.

  As always, please bring a light jacket (your PSMC jacket if you have already purchased one), a hat, sunglasses, water, sunscreen, etc.  We look forward to seeing many members and guests at this event.

  If you want to enjoy a drive to Skykomish, WA on some back roads, see snow capped mountains, valleys, rivers, trains, and being on a national internet railcam site, this is your drive!  Meetup will be at Starbucks, 13780 NE 175th St, Woodinville, WA 98072 at 8:30am, driver's meeting at 8:45am, and leave at 9:00am on June 27, 2026.  Starbucks has pastries, coffee, etc.  There will be one bathroom stop in Duvall before heading to Skykomish.  
  
  We will be driving some twisties, in the valley, narrow roads (drive slowly), and over and under railroad tracks to reach our destination at Skykomish.   This is more of a scenic drive as we will be in the valleys and hills as seeing the mountains in the area.  When you depart and head for home, you will see more snow capped mountains.  
  
  When we arrive in Skykomish, we will be on the Skykomish Railcam and hoping to take pictures with a train as it is passing by.  We will be eating in Skykomish, WA at the historic Cascadia Hotel.  I will be sending an email to each registered club member when the owners send me the lunch menu.  You will send me back what you are wanting for lunch as it is going to save time in receiving our orders.  Please register early so we can give the owners plenty of time to order the items for the food and please ensure your email is up to date.  If you do not send me your order, it will delay you receiving your order.

  Join us for a wonderful drive on the beautiful roads through the back country of Snohomish county!  Having just completed the pre-run, you are in for a treat.  Our journey will begin in the Safeway parking lot at 5802 134^th Place SE, Everett, WA.   Our meet up time will be 10:00 a.m. gathering with a projected 10:30 a.m. departure.  This will afford everyone the opportunity to gas up, use the restrooms and pick up some coffee our other treats prior to our departure.  From here we make our way over Seattle Hill Road and proceed through Snohomish Valley towards the town of Snohomish.  Just before Snohomish we execute a right turn where the road narrows and we begin our twisties, truly experiencing the beauty and splendor of this county.  We’ll pass through working farmlands as our path takes us along the Snohomish River, passing through tree-canopied roads that provide both shade and beauty.  When we arrive in Sultan we’ll take a left onto Highway 2 and proceed towards Monroe.  Our ride concludes at Tuscano’s Italian Kitchen in Monroe, a wonderful family-owned restaurant which serves other car enthusiast clubs and provides a comfortably priced menu that is certain to please.

  The Miss West Sound Group is requesting nine Miata cars to carry their Royalty and others on Saturday, July 4, 2026 in the Kingston WA Parade.  This parade is a short, super fun parade through downtown Kingston with lots of parade fans!  

  Registration is at 10:30am to 10:45am, in Kingston in the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot, 10801 NE State Hwy 104 Ste 101, Kingston, WA.  You will need to check in and they will tell us where to line up.  We are part of the Miss West Sound Group and the parade starts around noon.  Bill Bell is the point person for PSMC.  

  If you sign up, you will be required to provide a copy of your insurance card to the parade personnel.  Also, I will be sending each of you a "HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT" that will need to be signed.  Both documents can be turned in to the parade personnel on July 4th.

  July 18th is the Back Road trip up to Concrete . The Antique Fly In .. This is a fun Backroads Adventure to see the old airplanes. Food Vendors, Band and More. We park our cars on the grass area near the Hangars. The Hangars are open for us to Visit and talk to the owners about their planes and flying toys. Food vendors will be on hand.

  8 am Edmonds TAKE Interstate 5 , TO EXIT 179 / 220th St. THAT JUST 1 MILE NORTH OF THE EDMONDS FERRY exit. Now go 1/2 mile west on 220th and turn right on highway 99 for .1 mile to Dick's Drive-in on Highway 99.  If you have a hand held radio tune to Channel 5.

  9 am MONROE. Meet at the Monroe Plaza across from the Chevron station on Highway 2 near the Starbucks. We depart at 9 am for a fun filled ride up to Concrete . Several areas posted 25mph, Town of Clear Lake and another farm area , so please obey these Speed limit signs. Set FRS Radios to Ch 5.

  After a couple hours with the air planes , a few of us will take a ride up to BAKER LAKE, Great photo op of Mt BAKER. We'll go to the Marina Restrooms , and take a ride over the Dam . Those not wanting to go up to the Lake. go down the hill under the high school make at left at the Stop Sign.. L on Hwy 20and motor on down to Sedro Wooly and Hwy 5 home, or make take a ride to La Conner?

  We will meet at the Silverdale Target parking lot on the east side of the building across the street from the Mall at 8:00am.  We will head to our line up spot around 8:45am. The road is wide, plenty of room to maneuver...

  Please bring pillows or cushions for the royalty lady to sit on and any decorations for your Miata.  The weather forecast is usually sunny and in the 70's.  

  Since there are more royalty ladies that are needing cars, the coordinator stated there will not be a chaperone in each of the cars.  The coordinator will accept all members and non-members for the parade.

  Please register so we can better coordinate.

  A scenic drive through Capital Forest that starts and ends in West Olympia.

  We will meet at the West Olympia Safeway at 8:30 am. After a short driver’s meeting, we will depart at 9 am and head West on Harrison. This drive will take us through the East and South sides of Capital Forest. The drive totals about 103 miles, but is broken in half by a rest stop and (optional) ice cream at the Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester.

  In all, the drive should take a little over 4 hours and will conclude at Stone Creek Wood Fired Pizza back in West Olympia. There is no obligation to stay and eat pizza with the group and there are plenty of other food options in West Olympia if you would like to explore on your own.

  It’s time again to mark your calendars to attend the annual Gathering of Miatas. As in past years, we have scheduled the cabana at Griot’s Garage in Tacoma for our event this year.

  If you have never been to Griot’s in Tacoma, then you are missing out! It’s a great place to stock up on your car polishing supplies. As one of our partners, Griot’s Garage welcomes us every year to host our gathering in their parking lot. Additionally, they sponsor a one-hour tech program where they explain the use of the car maintenance supplies they sell and why they are such good products. Their address is: 3333 S. 38th St, Tacoma.   We’ll start off at 10 a.m. with the “Drive-In” to Griot’s and to give you an hour to spiff up your car. Then the Tech Program begins at 11 a.m. followed by lunch, which will be provided by your PSMC Board of Directors. Please RSVP so we can have a head count for the food order.

  When arriving at the Gathering, please park in the following areas on the grass:

  NB - North Side farthest away from Griot's

  If you're looking for an Olympic Drive in the northern section of the Olympic Peninsula that has twisty roads and sightseeing areas, you have found it.   We will meet at Safeway, 8196 WA-104, Kingston, WA at 8:30am with the drivers meeting at 8:45am. The drive begins at 9:00am, and we will be driving Chicken Coop Road and the Salt Creek Recreation Area with a bathroom at each stop to our final destination restaurant around Port Angeles.  
  

  Please bring warm clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, as we will be at sea level, in the hills, and a camera to take pictures of the beautiful 

  areas of the Olympic Peninsula and maybe Vancouver Island.  The drive with rest stops will take around four hours depending on the

  This ride will cover select scenic routes in both Whatcom and Skagit counties.  This ride will take us down Highway 20, towards Anacortes, for a short distance.  From this point forward, our fun begins.  After visiting the iconic locations of Bow and Edison, we will begin the spectacular Chuckanut Drive, with all its splendid views and twisty-turns.  This route is well noted in the travel magazines and is considered a “must see” in Washington State.  

  From this point we will navigate around  Bellingham, passing Lake Padden, while proceeding to the Whatcom Lake Shore Drive.  Lake Whatcom is truly a beautiful lake and this route affords the opportunity to enjoy qualities of this lake view drive.  

  After a short break at Sudden Valley, we will continue our journey, passing several small lakes before coming to the thriving metropolis of Alger.  From here we will make our way to Bow where we will stop and enjoy lunch.  

  We will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16th at the Holiday Gas Station & Market, 887 Nevitt Road, Located on Highway 20, right off I-5 at exit 230 on the left a short distance up the road.

  Pacific Beach Explore Drive & Overnighter

  Back after growing demand, Cindy and Tom are hosting once again their Pacific Beach Explore Drive & Overnighter. This popular event will take us on a lovely curvy road through the back woods of the Mason and Grays Harbor Counties.  Once we hit Aberdeen we will deviate and take the road leading to West Port Winery.  The winery charges $10 for 5 tastes, which is pretty much the going rate these days.  The winery has recently opened up a restaurant where you can enjoy lunch.  After the winery  tour/tasting, we will make the trip back to Aberdeen for food, gas, spirits and other staples.  We will then depart and make our way out to Pacific Beach, passing bays and ultimately to follow the coast for a bit (keep your cameras at the ready!).   Our overnight facility will be the Navy recreation facility which has rooms ranging in price from $95 - $168/night (no tax!).  You are responsible for your own room and will need to reserve your room with a credit card. I will be sponsoring the group’s entry onto this military facility since I am retired Coast Guard.  The Navy facility has a deli type restaurant, a full bar, bowling lanes, gourmet coffee bar and a gift shop. There are several other food venues in the surrounding area.  The beach is wonderful to walk and this will be in the middle of the kite flying season!  Or, you can visit the thriving metropolis of Pacific Beach! (a bit of tongue & cheek here). You may even want to purchase your own kite at the kite shop in Pacific Beach and participate in the fun!  After an afternoon on the beach and taking in all the joy of typically pristine September weather, we will sit back, sip some wines and slip into some easy times.  Following dinner, which is on your own at the Navy resort restaurant, we will assemble at our place which will be a house for some after-action reports on our experiences.  Our ride will begin at Little Creek Casino, West State Route 108, Shelton, WA 98584, with a short driver’s meeting starting at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.  Lodging will be at the Pacific Beach Resort & Conference Center.  As of now we have several rooms blocked for this event, including standard rooms and presidential suites, ranging in price between $95 and $168 per night (no tax!).  Their website is:  http://www.navylifepnw.com/site/68/Pacific-Beach.aspx.   You will need to reserve your room using either a Visa or MasterCard.  If your plans change, you have until two weeks prior to the event to cancel without a charge.  The direct phone number for Pacific Beach Resort & Conference Center is:  (360)276-4414 (front desk, not reservations!).  When you call, you need to reference the Puget Sound Miata Club and/or Tom Millar.  The early bird gets the worm on this one…book early!  By the way, on Sunday we will max our check out time and plan on a leisurely drive back to civilization.

  Join me for a drive starting in Arlington and going out toward Granite Falls on twisting back roads. We will circle the roundabout in Granite Falls and head back toward Arlington on Jordan road. From Arlington we will go on SR 9 with side detours on more twisty roads before we reach little mountain overlook. We then continue west toward Stanwood where we will do more twisties to work our way back to Arlington, for some lunch at Gleneagle Countryclub. 
  
  This drive is for the enthusiast and will be full of twisty roads.

  After we finalize the calendar, we'll have the usual board meeting to check on the budget, expenses of the club, and discuss any other business the club needs to address.  All members are cordially invited to attend and give your input to the club's operation.   If you want to enjoy a fall colors drive from Arlington to Darrington, Rockport, Concrete, Sedro Wooley, and other small towns with many views, this is the event for you.  We will meet at the  Safeway Parking Lot in Arlington, WA at 8:30am and driver's meeting at 8:45am and leave at 9:00am on October 3, 2026. 

  While driving, we will be taking the other roads through some of the towns and you will see Mt Baker, beautiful landscapes, and Cascade Mountains with some twisties while driving.  There will be two bathroom stops in Darrington and at 5b's Bakery & Eatery enroute to our final destination at Double Barrel BBQ.  Please bring a jacket, sunglasses, camera, water, sunscreen, etc. as we will be near the rivers, in the sunshine, and hills.  The drive with a stop or two will take around 3.5 hours.  We will see you there!  Zoom Zoom!

  Join me for a great, colorful drive as we explore some interesting back roads in the north end of the Puget Sound and, hopefully see some beautiful autumn leaves. 

  A somewhat different route than the "Drive To Lunch" with the same destination, Big Lake Bar and Grill. This will be a leisurely drive to enjoy the changing of the leaves

  We will meet up at 9:30 AM in the Monroe Plaza parking lot across from the Monroe Chevron on Highway 2 at the east end of Monroe. Driver’s meeting will be at 9:45 for a 10:00AM commencement of activities. as we work our way northward.

  Join me for an October drive through the woods to Concrete where we will park downtown for a restroom break, downtown Concrete was used in the movie "this boys life" starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

  We will continue to Sedro Wooley where we will stop at abandoned northern state hospital (supposedly haunted) and get some pictures of our cars in front of the old buildings. Should be lots of trees with changing leaves and views of the river along the way.

  At the Conclusion of our drive we will head back towards Arlington on highway 9 and have some lunch at Glen Eagle Country club in Arlington. There is easy access back to I5 from there.

  We will meet at the Arlington Safeway, 20500 Olympic Pl 98223, at 9:30 am and have a quick drivers meeting at 9:50, plan on starting the drive at 10:00. Plan on 3 to 4 hours for the event.

  We will meet up at Smokey Point Safeway at the Northwest side of the Safeway parking lot at 9:00am.  The driver's meeting will be at 9:15am and leave at 9:30am.  

  We'll begin at Smokey Point, driving through beautiful Skagit County, and stopping in Bow at the Farm to Market Bakery with a restroom stop for some delicious cinnamon rolls and other items.  From there, we will be driving the famous Chuckanut Drive with a stop before entering Bellingham, and onto lunch at El Agave Mexican Restaurant located at the Sudden Valley Golf Course,  

  Please bring a jacket, sunglasses, camera, water, sunscreen, etc. as we will be near the water, and in the hills.  The drive with rest stops will take around 3.0 hours depending on the amount of time at each stop.  We will see you there!  Zoom Zoom!
